Education Philosophy

As a true multi-instrumentalist, Lauren has many years of experience playing and teaching across a wide variety of instruments and musical genres. Lauren believes in teaching to the unique needs of each student rather than prescribing a rigid method to all. Her teaching style is positive, dynamic, and detailed. Lauren’s goal is to build confidence in students on their respective instruments while also instilling in them a lifelong love for music. In New York City, Lauren taught lessons at the top private school in Manhattan, Trinity School. She also taught at Larchmont Music Academy in addition to maintaining her private studio. In Atlanta, Lauren teaches at her private home music studio. Lauren offers beginning to intermediate lessons on piano, guitar, drum set, and ukulele. She offers beginning to advanced lessons on double bass, electric bass, and non-classical voice. Ages 7 to adult are welcome to book lessons with Lauren.
